I'm a Registered Clinical Counsellor with 12 years' experience providing counselling therapy to adults and youth. I'm also a Clinical Supervisor for counsellors and graduate students. I have worked at a couple and family therapy centre, child and youth mental health clinic and community counselling agency. I believe people have what it takes to live well but can feel overwhelmed in times of stress. My approach is to help people connect with their strengths, values and sense of integrity and make the changes they need to get back on track. I support people in recovery from trauma, addictions, stress and burnout; overcoming depression and anxiety disorders; coping with grief and loss; improving relationships; and moving forward with lifestyle or career changes. I offer a free consultation so you can decide if my approach fits for you.

With over 25 years’ experience, I bring a broad range of skill to my counselling practice in Victoria, BC.  My training includes certification in family therapy, Gottman couples therapy, trauma & attachment, sexual abuse intervention, critical incident response, group therapy, and dreamwork.  Additional training includes trauma & addictions, grief and loss, non-dual psychology, mindfulness and cognitive behavioural therapies, and energy healing (Jin Shin Do and Reiki).  My approach has been greatly influenced by the Indigenous communities I’ve worked with.  I am honoured and grateful to have been adopted and given a Haida name that translates as “Wife of Raven”.  I have received national and provincial awards for my work in creating safer communities and helping people move towards healthier choices in their lives.
